  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons fine sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 8 ounces plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup grated cucumber
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon minced fresh mint
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine spices: paprika, fennel seeds, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix into the ground lamb until evenly distributed.
  2. Shape the seasoned lamb into four patties slightly larger than the buns.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Cook each patty for 4–5 minutes per side until they reach an internal temperature of 140°F.
  4. For the cucumber sauce, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced mint, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl until combined.
