  • 1/4 cup silver agave syrup
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 large limes)
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by placing it in a zip top bag, sealing it tightly, and pounding to an even thickness of 1/2" – 3/4". Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together agave syrup, lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, and smoked paprika until well combined. Pour over the chicken in the bag and massage to coat evenly.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for maximum flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium heat. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Remove from heat and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
