  • 85 g unsalted butter
  • 6 cups regular vegan vegan marshmallows
  • 4 cups Rice Bubbles (Krispies)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • red food colouring

Instructions

  1. Prepare a Bain-Marie by boiling water in a small pot and placing a large heatproof bowl over it.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter and vegan marshmallows in the bowl, whisking until smooth (2-4 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat, add salt and red food coloring; whisk until combined.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, add Rice Bubbles and pour the melted mixture over them. Mix thoroughly to coat.
  5. Lightly oil your hands, shape into oval 'brain' forms, use a butter knife to create details, and draw veins with a toothpick dipped in food coloring.
