- 85 g unsalted butter
- 6 cups regular vegan vegan marshmallows
- 4 cups Rice Bubbles (Krispies)
- ½ tsp salt
- red food colouring
- Prepare a Bain-Marie by boiling water in a small pot and placing a large heatproof bowl over it.
- Melt the unsalted butter and vegan marshmallows in the bowl, whisking until smooth (2-4 minutes).
- Remove from heat, add salt and red food coloring; whisk until combined.
- In a large mixing bowl, add Rice Bubbles and pour the melted mixture over them. Mix thoroughly to coat.
- Lightly oil your hands, shape into oval 'brain' forms, use a butter knife to create details, and draw veins with a toothpick dipped in food coloring.
