  • ½ cup cold unsalted butter
  • ⅔ cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Slice the strawberries and mix with ¼ cup granulated sugar in a bowl; let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, ¼ cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add cold butter pieces; blend until crumbly.
