  • 1 ⅓ cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the very soft butter and powdered sugar. Mix until creamy.
  2. Add cornstarch, vanilla extract, and kosher salt into the mixture. Blend well.
  3. Gradually add all-purpose flour while mixing until combined.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Roll small portions of dough into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Roll each ball in cane sugar before placing them on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Remove from oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
  9. In another bowl, mash diced fresh strawberries with granulated sugar until juicy.
