  • 3/4 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, yeast, and salt. In another bowl, mix warm milk and melted butter; add to the dry mixture with one egg. Mix until combined.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and let rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes or until doubled.
  3. Prepare the filling by mixing softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla; fold in chopped strawberries and jam.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread with cheesecake filling, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  5. Roll tightly into a log, slice into 12 pieces, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Let rise again for 30 minutes before baking at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. While baking, prepare glaze by mixing softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  8. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
