  • 3 lbs (1.35kg) shrimp (shelled and deveined tail-on)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
  2. In a bowl, mix minced garlic, melted butter, salt, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice. Reserve some marinade for basting.
  3. Coat shrimp with the marinade and thread three onto each skewer.
  4. Preheat grill over medium heat. Grill kebabs for 2-3 minutes on each side, brushing with reserved marinade until shrimp are opaque.
