  • 1 1/2 ounces almond milk
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup sifted unbleached flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 5 Granny Smith apples
  • 2 tablespoons homemade caramel sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a pie dish by coating with butter and dusting with flour.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift together unbleached and almond flour; set aside.
  3. Dice two peeled apples into small cubes and thinly slice the remaining three apples.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs and both sugars until well mixed.
  5. Add almond milk and melted butter to the egg mixture; mix until incorporated.
  6. Stir in the sifted flours, cinnamon, baking powder, and diced apple cubes until just combined.
