  • 6 slices turkey bacon (diced, cooked, and drained)
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (1% or skim)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Roll out the pie crust into a 10-inch pie pan and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Cook diced turkey bacon until crispy; drain on paper towels.
  3. Blind bake the crust: line it with foil, add weights, and bake for 25 minutes. Lower the oven temperature to 350°F.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, milk, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper until smooth. Stir in cheeses and turkey bacon.
  5. Remove foil from the crust and fill it with the mixture. Bake for about 45 minutes until set.
  6. Cool for one hour before slicing.
