  • 3 cans beef broth (14.5 ounces each)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 ounces)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 ounces)
  • 1 cup ditalini pasta
  • 1 can kidney beans (15.5 ounces)
  • 1 can cannellini beans (15.5 ounces)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion, celery, carrots, and garlic.
  2. Rinse and drain the canned beans to reduce sodium content.
  3. In a large pot over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
  4. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning for an additional minute.
  5. Pour in the broth, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and ditalini pasta; bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low and let it simmer for about 7 minutes.
  7. Stir in the rinsed beans and continue cooking until the pasta is tender—approximately another 5-8 minutes.
