  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) salted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place cubed butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish and melt in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, brown sugar (3/4 cup), baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Add milk and vanilla; stir until just combined.
  3. In another bowl, toss peach wedges with remaining brown sugar and maple syrup.
