  • 450 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 175 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 g butter
  • 400 g ground hazelnuts (or walnuts/almonds)
  • 400 g chopped nuts (or almonds)
  • 400 g dark chocolate
  • 6 tbsp apricot jam (or another variety)
  • 10 ml milk
  • 350 g brown sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, eggs, butter, and salt. Knead until the dough forms.
  3. Roll out the dough evenly on the lined baking sheet.
  4. Spread apricot jam over the dough to create a sweet layer.
  5. In a saucepan, melt butter and milk together, then stir in brown sugar, nuts, and vanilla seeds.
  6. Spread the nut mixture over the jam layer on the dough.
  7. Bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before cutting into triangles.
  8. Melt dark chocolate and dip each corner into it. Let the chocolate set before serving.
