  • 1 (14 oz) can condensed milk

  • 1 cup sugar (for caramel)
  • Hot water (for the water bath)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the caramel by melting sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown. Pour into ramekins or a flan mold to coat the bottom.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, evaporated milk, condensed milk, and vanilla until well blended.
  3. Pour the custard mixture over the set caramel in the ramekins.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place ramekins in a baking dish and fill with hot water halfway up their sides.
  5. Bake for about 50 minutes or until set. Cool before refrigerating for at least an hour.
  6. To serve, run a knife around the edges of each ramekin, invert onto plates, and enjoy!
