  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a non-stick donut pan.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In another bowl, combine eggs, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Transfer the batter to a piping bag and fill each well of the donut pan.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until donuts spring back when touched.
  7. Cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  9. Dunk cooled donuts in glaze and let them set on the rack.
