  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 300g Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Juice of lemon
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Grill over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  2. Toss halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast on a baking sheet at 200°C (390°F) for about 20 minutes until crispy and golden.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Add minced garlic and simmer until thickened. Mix in grated Parmesan until melted.
  4. Assemble the bowl by placing sliced grilled chicken on one side, roasted Brussels sprouts on another, and drizzle with creamy sauce.
