  • 1 loaf French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch slices

  1. If using fresh crabs, steam them until bright red and extract the meat.
  2. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat; add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, melted garlic butter, lemon juice, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper gently.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet; brush with olive oil on both sides.
  6. Toast the baguette slices in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
