Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs; stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Turn dough onto a floured surface; knead for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the risen dough; roll it out into a rectangle. Spread raspberry jam evenly over the surface.
  6. Roll dough lengthwise into a log shape; seal seams tightly and place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) while resting for another 30 minutes. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.
