  • 45 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef or chicken broth
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) chili beans in chili sauce
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can (4 oz) chopped green chiles
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients. Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the pot; sauté until onions are translucent (about 3–5 minutes).
  4. Stir in broth, corn, black beans, chili beans, crushed tomatoes, green chiles, and spices.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and let simmer for about 20 minutes to meld flavors.
