  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped basil
  • 2 tbsp shredded zucchini
  • 2 tbsp shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp green pesto
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic, basil, zucchini, mozzarella cheese, pesto, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  2. Form walnut-sized meatballs by rolling the mixture in your hands.
  3. Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat with a small amount of oil.
  4. Add the meatballs to the pan and cover with a lid. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side before flipping them to brown all sides evenly.
  5. Once cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F), remove from heat and serve alongside salad or cauliflower rice.
