  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix (13.25 oz.)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar, for rolling
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 58 M&Ms (or 2 per cookie cup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix and flour. Add melted butter, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  3. Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll in sugar. Place in a muffin tin, pressing gently in the center to create a well.
  4. Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden brown; allow to cool slightly before removing from the tin.
  5. Prepare ganache by heating heavy cream until simmering and pouring it over white chocolate chips; stir until smooth.
  6. Once cookie cups have cooled completely, fill them with ganache and top with two M&Ms each.
