  • 7 ounces dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 5 ounces soft caramels
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream (or whole milk)
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 ounce white chocolate melting wafers
  • Confetti sprinkles
  • Nonpareil sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by placing the candy mold on a stiff baking sheet.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate melting wafers in 30-second increments until smooth.
  3. Spoon melted chocolate into each egg mold, brushing up the sides for an even coating. Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt soft caramels with heavy cream until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans and remove from heat.
  5. Fill egg molds with caramel mixture, leaving about 1/8 inch space at the top.
  6. Cover each mold with remaining melted chocolate and chill for another 20 minutes.
  7. Once set, unmold eggs and optionally decorate with melted white chocolate and sprinkles.
