  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup dried cherries, chopped or freeze-dried cherries
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • ⅓ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
  2. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt; fold gently until combined.
  3. Stir in chopped dried cherries and chocolate chips until evenly mixed.
  4. Chill dough for 1–2 hours in the refrigerator.
