  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Corn or flour tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Diced onion for garnish
  • Lime wedges for serving
  • Pico de gallo, salsa verde, or guacamole (optional toppings)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Marinate the flank steak in the mixture for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and grill the marinated steak for about 5 minutes per side until cooked to your liking.
  4. Allow the steak to rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
  5. Warm tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side.
  6. Assemble tacos by placing steak strips on tortillas and topping with diced onion and cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
