  • 13.8-ounce tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 3 black olives (for eyes)
  • Piece of red bell pepper (for tongues)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare ingredients by slicing black olives into small pieces and cutting red bell pepper into forked tongues.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough on a clean surface and cut it into 12 strips.
  4. Roll each strip into a 12-inch rope, tapering one end for the tail and flattening the other for the head.
  5. Wrap each rope around a greased chopstick or straw, then brush with olive oil and sprinkle with poppy and sesame seeds.
  6. Place olive pieces on each snake’s head as eyes.
  7. Bake on parchment-lined sheets for 11 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While warm, insert red pepper pieces into the flat end of each snake as tongues.
