  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, black pepper, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and toss to coat. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat and add vegetable oil.
  3. Once hot, sear the marinated beef in a single layer for about 2 minutes until browned. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until cooked through. Remove from the wok.
  4. In the same wok, add more oil if needed and stir-fry onions for 1 minute before adding the rainbow peppers. Cook together for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the wok with vegetables and stir well to combine. Heat through for an additional minute before serving.
